COLOR RUN is TOMORROW!!!
If you have not yet sent your permission slip to school with your child, please make sure to send it ASAP or your student will not be allowed to partake in the activities tomorrow. PLEASE, get that form to us TODAY. We hate to see any kid miss out.
UPDATE:
PLEASE send all cash and check donations back to the school ASAP. It's a manual process to update cash and check on the website- so the sooner we have it the better we will be able to stay on schedule tomorrow. You can visit the incentive winner lists anytime at the bottom of the page on our website www.jldpto.com (Today's numbers will be updated shortly with all cash & check submitted today entered by this evening.) Also, visit the site if you want to review any forms, re-print the permission slip etc.

WHAT TO SEND TO SCHOOL WITH YOUR CHILD:
- HOW TO DRESS: Every child will be receiving a COLOR RUN shirt and a pair of sunglasses to wear during the event, but please make sure they are wearing clothes that are allowed to get dirty or possibly stained.IWe expect it to be a nice day for the run, but if the weather changes- you may also wish to send them in a long-sleeved shirt to wear under their new shirt so they are protected from the wind and/or lower temps.
- PERMISSION SLIP: If you have not already sent their permission slip, it needs to be turned in ASAP so we know if they are or are not allowed to participate. Any student without a permission slip by drop-off will have to sit out during the event.
OPTIONAL items you may consider sending with your child:
- Goggles (to use in place of the sunglasses).
- Handkerchief to use during the run to put over their mouths (robber style).
- A small towel to wash their faces as needed after the run.
- Change of clothes, if desired – although most of the powder should be able to shake right off their clothing.
- A spare plastic bag to transfer their soiled/color shirt in after the run, which may be most beneficial for the grade levels running earlier in the day.
- In addition, when you pick your child up from school, you may wish to bring a towel for their seat in the car (just in case) to avoid powder in your interior.
COME ENJOY THIS EVENT WITH US:
Come cheer your student on during the run and show your support! Additional Color Packets (cups of color) will be for sale at $2 each for parents that would like to participate in the color toss at the beginning of the race -or- throw color during the run itself in support of your child. We hope you can come get colorful with us! Be sure to bring your license so you can check-in to the building per office protocol before visiting the color run course.
