Makerspace Lab JLD will have a new PTO Sponsored STEM activity in the Lab each month! A BIG thank you to PTO member & parent Cristina Byrne for championing this effort and getting the first 2 monthly activities in place!
Specific Needs We still need a volunteer for the February and May Smoothie Days - and we still need multiple volunteers for each Popcorn Day from now through end of the year. Box Tops Download the new Box Tops app and help us earn free money for our school. Just Shop, Scan Your Reciept and Earn money! We are $76.90 toward our $1000 goal! | January 2020 Newsletter Happy New Year Dennis Dolphins! Homeroom Parents - Classroom Party Reimbursements: If you have not yet turned in your Classroom Holiday Party reciepts for reimbursement, please do so as soon as possible. Reimbursement forms are available in the front office. Just staple reciepts to a filled out reimbursement form and leave it in the PTO Drop Box so we can reimburse you asap. Smoothie Day - Wed., January 15th The smoothie day store item is now active for January. Due to a technical hiccup, it wasn't available until last week. So, the cut-off has been extended to Tuesday, January 14th at noon. If you have not already purchased the annual smoothie bundle, you still can! The price reflects only the amount of smoothie days remaining in the year. Remaining Smoothie Days this year: 1/15, 2/12, 3/11, 4/8, 5/13 PTO Meeting: January 21st Join us Tuesday, January 21st in the school library for the 3rd quarter Member's Meeting at 6pm! All attendees will be entered in a gift card giveaway to be awarded at the end. Come learn more about ways you can help or share comments and concerns. We are stronger together. DOLPHIN BALL NOTE
Just a heads up - The Dolphin Ball date was changed to Thursday, February 6th shortly after school started due to an activities conflict. We noted the change on our website and the digital calendar. However, it's listed as Friday, February 7th on the JLD PTO printed calendar, since the calendars were printed before the change. More details about this event will follow very soon!
There's so many things you can help with at the school and with PTO... From the classroom, to events, copy running, taking pictures, or even serving on a committee - we need help and can't do it without you! Please reach out and let us know what you might be interested in helping with, use the event sign-up section in the app or just drop us an email! We LOVE our volunteers. Why Volunteer?
